NU yoga offers a variety of yoga classes that range in temperature, style and difficulty. Our classes are designed to strengthen your mind, body and spirit with the helpful encouragement of our gifted teachers.
Get ready to feel stretched, toned and detoxified! This vinyasa style class focuses on the integration of breath and movement. This style builds heat, strength, and flexibility through challenging and creative flows. Set in a hot temperature (104°).
This creative flow class challenges the body in stillness and in transition between postures. It is an accessible class to all levels from intermediate to advanced with posture variations suitable for all.
Hatha postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body while using the techniques of pranayama (breathing) and asana (postures). Open to all.
Yin yoga invites you to slow down and create space for nourishing your ligaments, tendons, joints and fascia. Each pose is held for 2-5 minutes. This class is a great compliment to your regular practice.
ReNU & Restore
You will move through a selected series of restorative postures that allow the body to completely relax with the use of props. Postures are held for longer periods of time for the body to achieve maximum relaxation.
Flow & Let Go
Deepen your practice while empowering the body and mind with active yang poses balanced with passive yin poses. Set in a hot temperature (104°), you can find yourself building heat fast and in longer holds.
Revive, renew and restore with this aromatherapy-integrated restorative class. Learn to let go, release and relax with the use of supportive props in each pose. Each pose will be held for longer periods of time while guided meditations will be weaved through the class along soothing music. Each pose will be accompanied with hands on adjustments and massages with the use of essential oils.
Move & Meditate
This class is a mix of everything restorative! A combination of breathing, meditation, movement and awareness, this class is sure to leave you well rested after a long week.
Awaken all your senses with this aromatherapy-integrated flow class. As you move from pose to pose, scents will be sprayed around the room to activate various parts of your mind and body, from the lively scents of mandarin orange, to the soothing scents of lavender. The class will finish with a relaxing essential oils neck massage. Prepare to move, breathe and release!
Vibe out in this dynamic flow class with a creative playlist that will get you moving on and off your mat.
Free flow gives you an opportunity to move at your own pace. A flowing sequence of postures will be introduced by the teacher,then you will repeat the flow by yourself to the rhythm of your unique breath. By the end of the class, you will be guided again into cool down postures and final rest.
This symbol indicates the use of hip hop and rnb music in class. A carefully curated playlist with artists like Drake, Rihanna, SZA, and others will be featured, changing every week.
